Social media is an ever changing platform with new trends emerging monthly; keeping track of all of these is hard work, that is why we have come up with a list of trends that are a must for 2022. Riding the wave trend is how you get to stay at the top of your game, when it comes to social media marketing; especially in a dynamic industry such as international education. So whether you’re an agent, a school, a service provider, offer guardianship programs or anything related to this industry, here are the top trends you need to take into account in 2022.

Content Creators and Influencers

The content creator economy is booming and it looks like it's here to stay. More and more people are flocking to social media to make purchasing decisions and most of these decisions are influenced by these popular content creators. Consider collaborating with influencers, but if you do, make sure that you have the right contract in place so that you get good value for money. You might want to get an influencer who is popular in a particular destination where you're trying to expand, or an influencer who has a strong agent network. Tik Tok took the world by storm and soon after many other platforms followed in its wake, and it looks like short form videos are here to stay. Apart from that, LinkedIn is a great platform for Business to Business transactions, especially if you are seeking to connect with agents or schools or even service providers within our industry.
